Sharp has announced the next line-up of workgroup MFPs! Replacing the first round of award-winning BP series devices with the sequel!
Both Essential and Advanced series machines are being replaced and will be available in October of 2025.
You may notice that the 55 and 65 page per minute models do not have an essential series option. This is due to the fact that the faster speed machines typically make more use of the full feature-set.

These new models are packed with new technology to help businesses manage their workflow efficiently long into the future. The new line was designed to address changes in the market and focuses on three areas:
1. Quality – A key focus to ensure long-term quality.
Sharp chose not to pursue the use of lower-quality materials for short-term cost savings at the expense of long-term product reliability.
2. Controller Design – Capable of providing stronger security and additional functionality.
- Powerful chipset delivering Self-Healing features
- BIOS Self-recovery capabilities
- New Data-Erase for End-of-Lease that is NIST compliant
- Dark Streak Detection and Auto Cleaning Fuser Mode for optimal image quality
- Seamless access to Microsoft services at the device with native Entra ID authentication
- Supports the Microsoft modern print platform for secure printing
- Supports Windows Protected Print mode with the Sharp Print Support App (PSA)
- Synappx Manage cloud-based device management for enhanced serviceability
3. Implement features that have been requested by our dealers and the market
- Re-engineered Paper Feed-in Section to handle a stack of COM 10 Envelopes (standard)
- Recycled plastics to the tune of 50% on the new devices
- AI assisted scanning at up to 300 ipm (Advanced Series)
The new Advanced and Essentials Series MFPs continue to deliver strong security features to help keep
businesses safe. These models are also compliant with the newest Common Criteria requirements for HCD
cPP v1.0e when equipped with our optional data security kit. When trade-in time comes, the enhanced
End-of-Lease feature now meets the requirements for NIST SP800-88 data erase. Native Bitdefender®
antivirus is also available for these models as an added layer of protection.
The new Sharp Advanced and Essentials Series models are ENERGY STAR® 3.2 qualified and RoHS
compliant. These offer among the lowest TEC (typical energy consumption) values in their category, as well
as one of the lowest stand-by power consumption ratings.
